I enjoyed The League. It was a solid show following Always Sunny. Here's the new trailer for season 2.

Videos From the Motherland
Well, I just saw this video of 4 Filipinos reacting to the top 15 finalists for the Miss Universe padgent. After the Philippines was announced, this is what occured.
I am just ashamed and speechless. That guys voice is so high, it's deafening. And over Miss Universe? Imagine if Miss Philippines actually won the damn thing.
Well, to make myself feel better and more manly, here are all the knockouts by the baddest flip on the planet, Manny Pacquaio

3rd Album - Childish Gambino - Culdusac
The 3rd album I can't stop listening to this month is Childish Gambino's Culdesac. I'm pretty sure most if not all of you have not even heard of him. If I told you his real name is Donald Glover, then maybe a few of you would know. If I told you he was the black guy from "Community" then maybe most of you would know who I'm talking about. Anyway, I came across this article from the LA Times about him and his success with writing for Tina Fey on "30 Rock," along with his "Community" success (which along with "Modern Family," the best two new comedies that debuted last year) and his up and coming stand-up comedian career.
In this article, it describes how he wanted to try rapping and his fellow co-stars Gillian Jacobs and Alison Brie (one of my personal faves) persuaded him to pursue it and he did. He released a couple of mix tapes early this year and last year but I decided to download his new album Culdesac. Glover, uh Childish Gambino, uses clever lyrics over some sweet beats and I can go through the whole album without skipping a song. I think it blends in and flows very well. Sure his voice is a little whiny or high pitched, but I think the overall word play and easy to nod beats are good enough to over come it.
You can download or stream all of Culdesac here.
A review of Culdesac - Here

Some Recommended Songs (but all of them are pretty good from beginning to end):
Also, he got the name Childish Gambino by plugging his name into the Wu-Tang Name Generator. Try it yourself.
Sincerely,

John Legend & the Roots First Single
John Legend and the Roots have collaborated before but they are releasing a whole album together on September 21st. Here is the new video from their single, "Wake Up."
Yes, very uplifting. I'm a John Legend fan. He's smooth and chicks love him. I remember seeing him perform and every girl had glossy eyes that you see in those cheesy high school flicks. I'm hoping this is a good album and hope he has at least one or two faster paced songs like my favorite John Legend song, Green Light. Him and Andre 3000 together. A combo of swag, bravado and overall smoothness. Tell me you wouldn't want to go to this party and I'd call you a lair.

More Dancing with Wall, Cousins and Gallon
Yesterday most of the NBA rookies took their NBA rookie shoot. I guess photo shoots can take long so they all had to entertain themselves. Here rookies Tiny Gallon, Demarcus "Boogie" Collins and John Wall get down to "Teach Me How to Dougie" to pass the time. Look at Demarcus' moves. Big man can get down. Guess that's why he was picked so high.

The Dro Report Presents...Locker Room Dancing
Hard Knocks new season debuted last Wednesday. So I was browsing through old clips and here is Safety Bernard Pollard showing how Fort Wayne does it.
Then I discovered this video of Jaguar Rookie Linebacker Kyle Bosworth (nephew of NFL Bust Brian Bosworth) winning a dance-off against a fellow teammate.
I love the reaction of the teammates in both videos, it's like I'm at the And 1 tour in Rucker Park.
