Check out the preview to HBO's "24/7"

Here's a 12 min preview of the Caps-Pens HBO 24/7 series for when they play the Winter Classic on Jan 1. Not going to lie, I'm kind of pumped about this and might go.

I Present to You, the Knockout of the Year

This was the rematch between Sergio Martinez vs. Paul Williams. The first time these two fought, it was a slugfest that went all 12 rounds with Paul Williams winning a close majority decision. This time around went by real quick. Scroll to :50 of the video.

60 Minutes Story on Army Staff Sgt. Salvatore Giunta

My roommate DVR'd this and I read about it the other day. All I can say is the common civilian probably couldn't imagine what's going on and with Veteran's Day this past week, figured it would be good to put the 60 Minute story up on here.

Pacquiao - Margarito this Weekend

On Saturday, Manny Pacquiao tries for his 8th title in a different weight. Margarito hasn't fought in the States for more then a year because he had illegal plaster in his hand wraps. He's a cheater. He's out to prove he can fight without them, but he will always have a stigma about it. But it seems like he doesn't care, since he jokes about the scandal and Roach battle with Parkinson's disease (2:10 mark).

Hopefully this provides the extra oomph that Pacman needs to take down the cheater. Parkinson joke was a low blow for a cheater that has nothing to lose since his reputation is already shot. In all honesty, Pacman needs to win so he can fight Mayweather and settle that once and for all.

Jeff Winger (Joel Mchale) Goes on the Today Show, Boozes, Makes Fun of Hosts

Joel McHale was on the Today Show earlier today to promote tonight's episode of Community. He talks about how Hilary Duff is a guest on the tonight's show and how as host of The Soup, has been killing Hilary's sister Haley for her past work, which probably lead to some awkwardness on set. At the end, he promises to booze when he comes back on the last hour of the show. He doesn't disappoint.

Host Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford pretty much are bitter that the Soup mocks them.

Hoda: Why do you continue to make fun of our show?
McHale: Have you seen your show?

Props to Mchale. Obviously a gentleman. He's drinking Macallan. A gentleman's drink. Thus making him a gentleman.

Kid Cudi Performs "Maniac" on Jimmy Fallon

Yeah his album releases on Tuesday. Yeah I'm probably over hyping it. Which will lead to a let down (See Drake - Thank Me Later). But whatever, I loved his first studio album and his mix tapes so I'm really looking forward to this album.

Cudi was on Fallon last night.

John Wall Dougies Through Intros

Last night I went to the Wizards home opener against the Sixers. Some quick thoughts. The Wizards can't play defense. They have talent but are extremely young. They have their franchise PG. I got the chance to watch John Wall live and he provided a glimpse of the future. Final line, 29 points, 13 assists, 9 steals, 8 turnovers. He has the ability to have that extra gear to blow by people and can finish at the rim. Once he develops that jump shot a little more, he might be un-guardable. He also knows when to make the fundamental play and kick it out to a right teammate. A team can be built around him and he has the talent to make players better. Best part, he's only 19. I'm also realistic and can see this team win 35 games. That would be an improvement. And with every game he plays, he'll get better and hopefully cut down on turnovers, which is tough because he always has the ball. At least the Wizards are somewhat watchable again.

Here he is from the starting lineup intros from last night.
