Charlie Davies was suppose to be our other striker for the US Mens National Team in the World Cup when he was a passenger in a car accident that nearly killed him. After a year of rehabbing and recovering from a lacerated bladder, fractured right tibia and femur, a fractured elbow, facial injuries, and bleeding on the brain, he is in DC playing for DC United on a loan from his French club team Sochaux.
