Goodbye CP.

After 7 years, the Redskins released Clinton Portis. Whatever you thought about him, he gave it 100% even when Gibbs would run it 30 times a game. His pass blocking, off-putting interviews and dress up characters will be missed.

I remember when I saw this live. I turned to Robbie with a hard on and yelled "2000 Yards!"

Colt Brennan Cut, Life Goes On.

3rd String QB and fan favorite Colt Brennan was cut today. I think Skins fans liked him because a) the 2 preseason games in 2008 that he played well b) he was boys with Cooley which made chicks like him and c) he was popular in college when he led Hawaii to the Sugar Bowl. In college, he was kicked out of Colorado for rape (alleged!) and transferred to Hawaii where he kicked ass. I remember the one game he played against Washington where Hawaii was down 28 or so and scored 28 unanswered to win. That and the Sean Taylor tribute. Reading reports that he lost arm strength, Colt is probably done at the NFL level, maybe he can stick around and be Cooley's blogger or Yes man.

Some quick thoughts. Yikes. 3 games on national tv, with Mcnabb current team hosting his old team. Some tough home games with Houston (offense), Indy with Peyton on Sunday night (yikes), and Minnsota (with Favre?).

The optimist in me says 8-8 but obviously, it's going to be 14-2
