I always found Katy Perry annoying. Her music is alright for pop standards. "I Kissed a Girl" was the perfect first single to get her name out. "Teenage Dream" was ok, but that annoying youtube sensation kid killed it. "Firework" is catchy and I've heard plenty of remixes to that song that made it bearable. Well today she just released her video with Kanye.



Not a terribly annoying song. I'd say its catchy beat with an even more catchy chorus topped off with a little Kanye which makes it a good song to nod your head to. With Kanye involved, of course the video would be original, out there and somewhat over the top. Besides, it gives Star Wars nerds something to fantasize over.

So let me get this straight, let's take Jersey Shore, add college graduates plus richer incomes with a splash of Asians, and you have K-Town. Well that's genius. We all know white males love themselves Asian chicks so this will probably be huge. Once this gets picked up, they have something to watch that they can talk about at the water-cooler instead of the latest hot Asian clip they found on RedTube.

It's Hard Not to Cheer For Charlie Davies

Charlie Davies was suppose to be our other striker for the US Mens National Team in the World Cup when he was a passenger in a car accident that nearly killed him. After a year of rehabbing and recovering from a lacerated bladder, fractured right tibia and femur, a fractured elbow, facial injuries, and bleeding on the brain, he is in DC playing for DC United on a loan from his French club team Sochaux. His debut last was last weekend in which he scored 2 goals and combined them with a celebrations called the Cat Daddy and the infamous Stanky Leg. Black Healing Power at its finest.
